Love this so much! I volunteer with the Seattle Giving Garden Network. If youād like to connect with P patch/home gardeners, volunteer with the Sprouts program, learn what your local giving garden needs, etc let me know or email info@sggn.org (weāre also on instagram).
Thanks so much, KatieMarie! We're going to get settled first and see how it all shakes out. But I love Giving Gardens. I used to garden in a P-patch and loved giving produce to the program. Thanks for all that you do!
Wonderful. I was just thinking I wanted to.donmore permaculture and have been sliding that way. But I am in Texas. Where did you get your certification?
I did a six-month experiential course here in the Seattle area (one weekend a month). But there are many options now. I know there are online course as well.
One of my teachers is an instructor in this program:
The only thing I advise people to do is to take one of the longer courses (not the two week intensive). It's A LOT of material to cover and I really appreciated the opportunity for things to settle. An intensive would have been overwhelming.
What a wonderful venture!!! Iām so excited to hear about the gardens and the gardeners. š
Thank you so much, my dear. It will be an adventure, for sure! š
